Book and Bake Sale

To celebrate Saskatchewan Library Week, Carnduff Public LIbrary will be hosting a book and bake sale! We will have bags for books that patrons can fill for $3.00, as well as a variety of baking for sale.

LEGO Contest | Theme - Libraries: Building the Future

Age categories:

6 & under, ages 7-9, and ages 10+

Participants have the option of building at BlockHeadz Lego Club or at home. Entries must be dropped off on Monday, October 21st wtih a brief description of their build. The public will be able to vote all week at the branch or via online Facebook gallery to decide who the winner is.

Votes will be tallied on Friday, October 25th.

Lego Building Contest - Adults vs. Children

Participants will have to build a creation according to a theme. Lego prizes will be awarded and we will be serving snacks.

At 17, Gord Hunter joined the navy. One Cold War, two submarines, three surface ships and many spy ships later, he shares the fun, challenges and unexpected beauty of life at sea.

Help us celebrate Saskatchewan Library Week! Author Gord Hunter will be at the WPL to read from his book No-Badge Killick. We will be serving coffee, tea, and tasty bites.

Girlvana 

7:00pm - girls ages 9-11; 8:00pm - girls ages 12+

A 45-minute yoga class with Kelsey Rydberg to help girls empower themselves in their daily lives by learning to love themselves & deal with the anxieties and stresses of being a girl.

A basket for donations (cash, dog & cat food, toys, etc.) to the Estevan Humane Society will be set up for those who wish to donate.

*Please bring a yoga mat and water.

Drop into the Windthorst Library for a roadtrip to the Kennedy branch. Join Jill as you travel to meet Carolyn at Kennedy for coffee and snacks, take a tour of the branch, and see what the Kenendy library has to offer!
